Abstract

This qualitative study of film and media positions Christ as the standard of a believer’s ethics to explore political propaganda aimed at the church. The supporting research invites readers to contemplate the virtue of the media they consume through the context of Narrative theology by exploring the intersection of film, media, history, and propaganda surrounding stochastic movements. The resulting Creative E’s of Credo Film (creative empathy, creative edification, and creative exhortation) emerged as a faith-based writer’s guide to pouring your creativity into stories, supporting media ecology, and calls-to-action that align with ethical action. The techniques developed from the study were applied to the supplemental screenplay Christian Soldiers.

Este estudio cualitativo sobre cine y medios de comunicación posiciona a Cristo como el referente ético para los creyentes, explorando la propaganda política dirigida a la iglesia. La investigación invita a los lectores a reflexionar sobre la calidad de los medios que consumen a través del contexto de la teología narrativa, analizando la intersección entre cine, medios, historia y propaganda en torno a movimientos estocásticos. Los tres principios creativos de Credo Film (empatía creativa, edificación creativa y exhortación creativa) surgieron como una guía para escritores de fe, orientada a canalizar la creatividad en historias, apoyar una ecología mediática saludable y generar llamados a la acción que se alineen con una conducta ética. Las técnicas desarrolladas a partir de este estudio se aplicaron al guion complementario Christian Soldiers.
