El silencio en rebelión: Análisis discursivo del cuerpo de la mujer como potencia política en la narrativa de Mayra Santos-Febres, Pilar Quintana y Cristina Peri Rossi

Abstract

La presente investigación estudia el cuerpo de la Mujer como potencia política en la narrativa de tres escritoras hispanoamericanas: Mayra Santos-Febres, Pilar Quintana y Cristina Peri Rossi. A través de un análisis discursivo que parte de los Estudios Culturales, se examinan las formas en que el cuerpo de Mujer ha sido históricamente disciplinado, vigilado y condicionado al encierro social. También se observa cómo el reconocimiento identitario conduce a la rebelión del cuerpo y al alumbramiento de nuevas vías de reparación. La investigación se fundamenta en un marco teórico transdisciplinario que incorpora las nociones de poder, panoptismo y biopolítica según Michel Foucault; el nomadismo y el devenir nómade en Rosi Braidotti; y la revolución poética del lenguaje y la intertexualidad en Julia Kristeva. Así, la literatura converge con la teoría para demostrar que el cuerpo narrado desde un lenguaje de Mujer fractura las estructuras de poder que han normalizado la exclusión de los cuerpos subalternos. En Fe en disfraz y Jadeante y sudorosa, Santos-Febres reinscribe el cuerpo racializado en el archivo político-cultural de la sociedad contemporánea. En La perra y Los abismos, Quintana deconstruye los discursos sobre la maternidad y la animalidad oculta de los cuerpos. Finalmente, en La insumisa, Peri Rossi defiende el derecho al ejercicio escritural y propone a través de la manifestación literaria, la resistencia y la resignificación de la Mujer. En síntesis, el cuerpo se nombra, se cuestiona y se resignifica; y a la vez, se quiebran los discursos hegemónicos y se visibilizan nuevas formas de habitar la diferencia.

This research studies the female body as a political force in the narratives of three Latin American writers: Mayra Santos-Febres, Pilar Quintana, and Cristina Peri Rossi. Through a discursive analysis rooted in Cultural Studies, it examines the ways in which the female body has been historically disciplined, surveilled, and confined to social isolation. It also observes how the recognition of identity leads to bodily rebellion and the emergence of new paths toward reparation. The research is based on a transdisciplinary theoretical framework that incorporates the notions of power, panopticism, and biopolitics according to Michel Foucault; nomadism and becoming-nomadic in Rosi Braidotti; and the poetic revolution of language and intertextuality in Julia Kristeva. Thus, literature converges with theory to demonstrate that the body narrated from a woman's perspective fractures the power structures that have normalized the exclusion of subaltern bodies. In Fe en disfraz (Faith in Disguise) and Jadeante y sudorosa (Panting and Sweaty), Santos-Febres reinscribes the racialized body into the political-cultural archive of contemporary society. In La perra (The Bitch) and Los abismos (The Abysses), Quintana deconstructs discourses on motherhood and the hidden animality of bodies. Finally, in La insumisa (The Unsubmissive Woman), Peri Rossi defends the right to literary expression and proposes, through literary manifestation, resistance and the re-signification of Woman.
