DELEYTAR APROVECHANDO... POR PARTES. HISTORIA TEXTUAL Y TRANSMISIÓN DE LA MISCELÁNEA TIRSIANA

Abstract

Deleytar aprovechando sufrió, al igual que Cigarrales de Toledo, una transmisión textual por partes. Tan solo encontramos cuatro ediciones íntegras desde que hace casi cuatrocientos años saliera a la luz y cada uno de los géneros literarios que la integran (prosa, poesía y teatro) han corrido dispar suerte. Su descontextualización del marco narrativo originario, si bien ha permitido su difusión como obra independiente y la perduración de la obra no necesariamente dramática del autor mercedario, ha afectado también gravemente a la comprensión de la totalidad del volumen. En este trabajo ofrecemos una panorámica pormenorizada de la transmisión que esta miscelánea experimentó desde su publicación en 1635 hasta la actualidad. Para completar el estudio, adjuntamos una noticia bibliográfica que reúne todos los testimonios ordenados cronológicamente.

Deleytar aprovechando suffered, like Cigarrales de Toledo, a textual transmission by parts. We can only find four complete editions since it came to light almost four hundred years ago and each of the literary genres that make it up (prose, poetry, and theater) has had a different fate. The decontextualization of its original narrative framework, although it has allowed its dissemination as an independent work and the persistence of the not necessarily dramatic work of the Mercedarian author, has also seriously affected the understanding of the entire volume. In this paper we offer a detailed overview of the transmission that this volume experienced from its publication in 1635 to the present. To complete the study, we attach a bibliographical notice that lists all the testimonies in chronological order.
