Santa Fe Prep Studenthas studied at Cambridge University
Suzy Santaella is a Santa Fe Prep School student, not a Connecticut Yankee. But she did get to spend some time near, if not exactly in, King Arthur's Court.
Santaella was one of 65 high school sophomores from the United States and Canada selected to spend last July studying at Cambridge University. The program, sponsored by Oxbridge Academic Programs of New York City, places high school students in the rarefied atmosphere of three of Europe's most prestigious universities Oxford, Cambridge and the Paris Academy.
The Cambridge Prep Experience, which Santaella attended, is for sophomores. Juniors and seniors may choose between Oxford and Paris.
"We were at Corpus Christi College (at Cambridge), which was built in the Middle Ages," she said. "It was a massive building. It was a real experience just staying there."
