Abstract

The versatile 19-year-old [James Armson] said: "I'm learning all the time and it's special being in a team that get's on so well with one another. The spirit is tremendous on and off the pitch. There's a lot of banter and good humour, mainly from the senior andmuch older players, but the younger lads are growing in confi-dence all the time and are beginning to give as good as they take. "It's that camaraderie which comes into play when the odds are stacked against us. We just run and battle for one another, like on Saturday when we were 3-0 up that could so easily have been six or seven, but suddenly Clevedon scored twice in quick succession and we were under pressure.

"There's a confidence and belief within the squad and while Farnborough are unbeaten in the league this term that's a run we aim to stop. We don't fear anyone at this level!"
