Robbie Williams completed a hat-trick yesterday when he was named the most played artist of the year on UK radio for the third year running.
The 27-year-old star dominated the airwaves during the past year with his Brit-winning single Rock DJ as well as a string of his other solo hits. The chart-topping star received the most played artist of the year title at Music Radio 2001, the annual Radio Academy conference for music business and radio executives.
Williams beat competition from runners-up All Saints, whose Pure Shores single was one of the biggest-selling singles of 2000....
