ALLEGED gangland boss "Fat" Freddie Thompson has been cleared in Holland of hard drugs and guns offences.
Thompson (25) convinced a court in Rotterdam that he knew nothing about seven kilos of cocaine and six handguns and ammunition found in an apartment in which he had been hiding out since fleeing Ireland and later Britain.
Thompson is now back in Ireland, despite death threats from rival gang members, after being released from custody in Holland two weeks ago.
The Dutch public prosector had described him as a notorious Irish criminal, calling for Thompson to be jailed for at least three and a half years for possessing drugs and guns as part of a...
