Every so often music throws up the voice of a generation. One thinks of Bob Dylan and Johnny Rotten and Kurt Cobain capturing the spirit of their time. Well now there's a new one, Hannah Montana. "Hannah who?" you might be saying. If you are, that's because if you're reading this you're unlikely to be part of her generation, who are mostly still in primary school. For them, she's huge. Which is why I'm at the Koko Club in Camden with a thousand preteens waiting for Hannah Montana to take the stage for her first concert in London.
Hannah Montana is also a children's sitcom which aired for the first time last year on the Disney Channel. It told the story of Miley Stewart, a 14-year-old growing up in Malibu, Califormia. There were the pleasures and pitfalls...
