THE public have been busy voting to decide the winners of the National Music Awards 2002 and it looks set to be a battle of the Pop Idols.
Some of the world's biggest stars are competing and the ceremony should have something to suit all tastes.
Although some of the categories may seem slightly skewed toward the poppier end of the market - the contenders for Favourite UK Band include our own Atomic Kitten, Liberty X, Westlife and Blue - others are more eclectic.
For those who prefer their listening a little more highbrow, there's a classical category, which includes Lesley Garrett, Andrea Bocelli, Russell Watson and Charlotte Church.
