MICHAEL SCHUMACHER is confident he can shrug off the controversy surrounding the Austrian Grand Prix sham by scorching to victory in Britain next week.
The German was cleared to compete at Silverstone after motor sport chiefs admitted last Wednesday they could take no action against Ferrari over their team orders at the A1-Ring in May.
Schumacher can now look to move closer to that record-equalling fifth drivers' crown by using his vast superiority this season to score only the second victory of his career at the British Grand Prix.
The 33-year-old will arrive at the Northamptonshire track with a thumping 46-point lead in the standings after winning six of the nine races this season - including Austria when Barrichello moved over in the final metres.
