THREE water features specially created for the National Botanic Garden of Wales have won an award from the Fountain Society.
A 15ft-high inverted cone water sculpture, a gateway fountain and a raised circular stone pool have earned the garden a special water feature award.
The conical glass sculpture by London-based artist Marion Kalmus, at the entrance to the Garden of Wales, is named 33,798 after the number of plant species across the world that were under threat when the new institution opened to the public last year.
