Rhod Gilbert
After last year's successful Edinburgh stint with Knocking on Heaven's Door, it is a wonder what he will come up with next. And how he has the time to think of new routines in between his Radio Wales show, putting on comedy gigs for the troops in Iraq and touring the country? The comedy festival will feature Rhod's only Edinburgh preview this year.
Howard Marks
Notorious is a word often used to describe Marks and it's an example of how strange life can be that an imprisoned international cannabis smuggler is now a comedian/author/raconteur. With his new book Senor Nice, the Kenfig Hill-born man of many alias will perform a one-hour show on the penultimate night.
Kevin Coleman
He has been known to talk about the racists, bullies, self- centred lads, vacuous women and the Iraq war on stage and apparently doesn't take heckling lying down.
