A YOUNG Barry woman who has witnessed the horrors and tragedies of Ugandan life is setting up a charity to help African orphans.
In 1999 the Echo reported the story of Lucy Dickenson, of Broad Street, who went on a trip of a lifetime with Christian charity the Right Hand Trust.
Kind-hearted Echo readers helped raise funds for her Ugandan adventure to assist African orphans and to lead an AIDS-awareness campaign.
