IT was a new week but the same problems for Liberal leader Bruce Flegg.
Launching the Coalition's education policy yesterday, Dr Flegg had to be rescued from a media history quiz and stumbled to recall the Coalition's policy for apprenticeships announced hours earlier by Nationals leader Lawrence Springborg.
Under the education policy, Australian history will become compulsory for students in Years 9 and 10 as essential for "a thorough understanding of their nation's past".
But when asked who Brisbane was named after, Dr Flegg stalled on the answer before admitting defeat.
