David Poltorak has the right credentials to be a TV quiz show writer, writes Sarah Nicholson
HAVE you ever wondered who writes the questions for the quiz shows on television?
Who is the smart person who seems to know about everything from astrology to zoology as well as classical music, popular culture and everything in between?
If you're watching Temptation, The Einstein Factor or Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, chances are that it's quiz master David Poltorak who has come up with the bite-sized challenges.
Poltorak has been penning the questions for some of Australia's best-known game shows since 1989 when he received a call "out of the blue" to join the quiz team at the ABC.
