Note: The US bank has hired Achintya Mangla and Aloke Gupta from rival J.P. Morgan as it bids to bulk up its regional ECM presence, according to an internal memo seen by asiamoney.com.
Bank of America-Merrill Lynch has lure two highly-rated equity capital markets (ECM) bankers away from rival J.P. Morgan.
Achintya Mangla has been appointed managing director and head of South-east Asia ECM and head of equity linked solutions for Asia-Pacific ex-Japan, while Aloke Gupta has been hired as director and head of convertible bonds for Asia-Pacific ex-Japan.
