Consumers in the East African region will have to brace for the burden of increased costs caused by Somali pirates threatening Dar es Salaam and Mombasa ports.
Recent pirates' activity has been threatening to close the Madagascar gate to the two major ports serving the landlocked countries which include Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, DRC, and Zambia.
