DARE we say it, somebody needs to tell Tony "Plugger" Lockett to do more goalkicking practice.
Now looking medium-sized, Lockett, who has a record 1357 goals to his name, looked as nervous as a rookie in the 50m arc at Whitten Oval.
He kicked 2.4 yesterday in Sydney's 12.12 (84) to 7.10 (52) win over Melbourne. But his goal shooting lacked his usual confidence and impact. Two that fell short yesterday would have floated over the Ballarat Rd end scoreboard in Plugger's heyday.
