CHANNEL 10, keen to stamp itself as Australia's premier network for sport, has splashed in the vicinity of $30 million on the broadcast rights for the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
It's a massive coup for Ten, which will launch a 24-hour digital sports channel, to be called ONE, early next year.
Ten might be struggling for hits as the ratings year draws to a close, but it has been on a major buying spree to ensure its sports event stocks are solid next year.
