National Coalition of South Asian Organizations (NCSO)
Thirty one South Asian community organizations from 12 regions around the country announced the formation of a National Coalition of South Asian Organizations (NCSO) at a briefing in New York City on June 24.
The coalition released a nine-point National Action Agenda containing 'Policy Recommendations to Empower South Asian Communities in the United States (2008)' that includes issues like immigration, gender equity, and better access to services for South Asians.
