New on the radio
New tunes are on the musical horizon, and it sounds like love is in the air: passionate love, lost love, and even maternal love.
Making the rounds on the romantic oriented radio station is a duo by Manuel Mijares and Lucero titled "Cuatro Veces Amor."
It's great to hear good voices that don't have to be engineered and altered to be made palatable to the ears. Found on Mijares latest CD titled "El Encuentro," the couple sing about that four letter word, A-M-O-R, and commitment.
"El Encuentro" is a new step for Mijares who decided to tape the CD live and acoustically. Check it out, the guitars and real keyboards are a nice alternative to the synthetic stuff that has become too a part of the music industry.
