Kara Saun, best known by Bravo Network viewers as "The Professional," Kara both wowed and inspired the nation last fall, as one of the standout designers on the hit series "Project Runaway." This hit series was nominated for an Emmy Award. Presently, Kara Saun is at the helm of costume design for the hit WB series What I Like About You, starring Amanda Bynes and Jennie Garth. She designed the gold dresses in the America's Next Top Model campaign and...she designed Chili and T-Boz for their UPN series R U the Girl, which premiered in the Summer of 2005. The only designer on Project Runway to win four out of nine challenges, Kara Saun's beautifully executed designs propelled her to the final three designers, who earned their right to show at 2005's New York Olympus Fashion Week. Her futuristic Aviator inspired collection, appropriately named "Fantasy Fly-Girl," had Kara Saun pegged as the frontrunner. With her undeniable talent, inner beauty and grace under pressure Kara Saun remains the favorite to many fans and fashion critics alike. The road to Project Runway started years ago for Kara Saun. She recently garnered rave reviews as costume designer for the hot series "Eve." Then, as the costume designer for the Michael Mann/Sony Classics Feature, "Baaadass," directed and starring Mario Van Peebles, Kara Saun authentically re-created the funky era of the 70's. She traveled back in time once again as costume designer for "Gangs of Roses"-creating blazin' late 1890's Western gear with a hip hop edge. Kara Saun was brought in as costume designer to create the "new" look for Queen Latifah for her talk show, as well as designing the Queen's 2000 Academy Awards red carpet gowns.
