Closing Time
The last few weeks were rough on musicians in, around and passing through Charleston. With Cumberland's already boarded up 'til summer and The Warehouse temporarily shut down, lots of bands found themselves without a place to play. Sad to say and all, but you can now count the adequate house P.A. systems in the downtown area on one hoof. This week should be interesting, nonetheless. (Smog) and King Missile drop by to appease the hipster crowd. Big Gospel Fuselage prepares for its upcoming CD release party. And The Working Title shows off some big-label studio chops on downtown's last stage left.

Brown Odyssey, a new band fronted by a long-missed familiar face (rhymes with spaniel), will reportedly open things up. Expect hooting, hollering.
