A man is charged with involuntary manslaughter after an Aug. 9 car crash near N.C 87 North and Parkdale Road in Caswell County.
William Brady, 26, of Village Road, Whitsett, was driving a 1986 Chevrolet Camaro when it clipped the rear end of another vehicle and went careening off the road, traveling 426 feet. It flipped two times, hitting a pole and going through a fence, ejecting all three passengers from the car.
Joseph Lee Johnson died on Aug. 10 from injuries he sustained in the car crash, said North Carolina State Highway Patrol Trooper D.L. Sloop.
The other car also hit a pole, went through a fence and a guide wire before coming to rest in a nearby field.
