CEBU CITY: Cebu's biggest event in 2006 did not happen. Bar none, it could still be Cebu's biggest event in 2007.
It's the 12th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Summit, which has become the proverbial fisherman's tale of "the big one that got away."
The Asean Summit, originally set on December 10 to 14, was reset to January 10 to 14, all because of Typhoon Seniang.
It was so big many things nobody thought would happen did in fact happen.
