A jewelry "party" with artisan Amy Epstein is set for 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at Lucy, Oakmont.
Epstein designs and handcrafts necklaces, bracelets and earrings with semi-precious stones, beads, pearls and handblown glass. Epstein also will offer hand-selected scarves, shawls, handbags, watches and wallets to complement her jewelry.
Lucy is at 510 Allegheny River Blvd., Oakmont.

Handbag trunkshow set in the Strip
Meet handbag designer Wendy Stevens at a trunk show of her hand-fabricated, metal and leather purses from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Society for Contemporary Craft, Strip District. 'Runway' finalist says designers need to be tough
As the reality television machine rattles on, the good news is that we see positive results in some participants' lives.
Kara Saun, who was stopped short of the finals on Bravo's "Project Runway" last year, is producing her own upscale eveningwear line in Los Angeles. And she just completed a pilot for an ABC sitcom, "Notes From the Underbelly."
And in Kansas City, Mo., late last month, she spoke about "following your dreams" at the Sweet Ambitions event of the Girl Scouts of the Mid-Continent Council.
