Usher, 16, newest artist to watch.
"I'm in this business for longevity, this is my life," says Atlanta-based, 16-year-old singing sensation Usher, the latest protege of Grammy Award-winning producer/songwriter LA Reid. Usher's magnetic stage presence, his charisma and youthful appeal make him the r&b/pop solo artist to watch. Adds Reid, "Usher is a true performer unlike any that I've seen in a long time."
Indeed, the buzz around Usher is so strong that comparisons to Bobby Brown and a young Michael Jackson have already begun.
