Frank Gehry, who has become America's most sought-after architect following the success of his stunning Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain, may design the visitors center for the Frank Lloyd Wright house at Kentuck Knob, Fayette County.
Gehry, who is 70 and lives and works in Santa Monica, Calif., is the choice of England's Lord Peter Palumbo, who has owned Kentuck Knob since 1986.
Palumbo "thought he would be sensitive to the site," said Kentuck Knob site manager Susan Waggoner. "He likes his work, and he wants to own something by Frank Gehry."
