There were plenty of challenges that could have thrown off the MYSC Lady Blues' inaugural match.
A day after severe weather pounded the area, more rain came.
Most of the players on the first-year Women's Premier Soccer League team had only been training together for a couple weeks.
And they didn't get into tactical discussions until the final two practices before Sunday afternoon's opener.
None of those things, though, tripped the Lady Blues up enough to deny them a winning start.
