Doug Parker remembers a Rock Valley Conference that was more smashmouth than schemed when he left Palmyra-Eagle after the 2002 season to take over the prep football program at Whitewater.
He remembers a conference that relied heavily on the Wing-T attack, not the wide-open offensive sets of today.
He also remembers a conference that was a bit top-heavy with two or three schools distancing themselves from the rest of the pack.
