Abstract

The Bristol-Warren Regional School Committee last night approved the adoption of language arts textbooks for Grades 1 through 8 for the 1996-1997 school year.

"The selection process started about a year ago," Arlene C. Miguel, director of thereading/grants program, told the committee.

Before the School Committee took a vote, Miguel detailed how the process worked and the reasons why the textbooks were chosen.
