WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The season had not begun, and Washington University sophomore center Alia Fischer sat pondering how "cool" it would be to finish the season as even a second-team All-American. She reviewed the preseason favorites listed in a packet her coach handed out, and she knew some of the names.
