To find their way down the familiar road to the Final Four, the Washington University women's basketball team had to travel the path less taken.
For the first time this season, the Bears were tied with an opponent at halftime and had to come from behind in the second half to defeat Baldwin-Wallace College of Berea, Ohio, 86-71 in an NCAA Division III sectional final Saturday at Washington University Field House.
Blazing the trail through unfamiliar territory was Tasha Rodgers. The junior forward scored a career-high 33 points, five of which came in succession after Washington U. fell behind 44-43 with 17 minutes 33 seconds left in the second half.
