Let's face it: You're getting older, whether you are 8 or 80. So why not go into it with all the facts? Today marks the debut of the Lessons From Living column by Judy Bradford and Larry Zurat. Its purpose is to enlighten and entertain readers about the process of aging -- and aging well.
The authors are employed by the Area 2 Agency on Aging/ REAL Services, Bradford as health and education program director and Zurat as crime victim counselor. Zurat also is a board member for TRIAD, a partnership between law enforcement and senior citizens.
Their column will appear on the Hometown page twice a month. On alternating Mondays, Tribune staff writer Ken Bradford, a regular on the Hometown page, will write a general interest column. -- Editor
My father-in-law, who died last year, left some very strange legacies.
