New radio station won't take the rap for its focus
Sister Sledge's "We Are Family" marked the debut of the newest addition to the Planet Radio family.
FM station Magic 95.7 (WLRX-FM) signed on the air on Aug. 30, joining WUBU-FM (urban contemporary), WBYT-FM (country) and WAOR-FM and WRBR-FM (rock).
Program director Mark Durocher calls the new station's format "hot adult contemporary" and names Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt and Matchbox Twenty as artists you...
