# The most athletic feat of the weekend may not occur at the Metrodome, but at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church in southwest Minneapolis. The Rev. Paul Youngdahl is preparing to perform in nine back-to-back Christmas Eve services, starting at 4 p.m. today. "It's a real joy," said the 22-year veteran, "but you have to prepare mentally and physically by getting proper rest. You have to pace yourself. You can't let it out in one service." Youngdahl expects to preach his sermon, "The Gift of Christmas," to 15,000 people.
# When the credits roll for "The Sound of Music" Christmas night on KARE-TV (Channel 11), Debbie Turner's name will be there, but that doesn't mean she'll be watching. Turner, who was 7 at the time, played Marta in the 1965 classic. "I'm sure we will have on two TVs. The kids will be watching (the movie) and I'll be cheering on the Vikings (KSTP-TV Channel 5)," says Turner, now of Chanhassen. . . . The movie lost some of its charm for her about two years ago, when she bought the video and her three daughters - Brooke (7), Jaime (5) and Angela (3) Larson - played it ad nauseam. Turner and husband Rick Larson moved to the metro area five years ago. She has a custom wreath-making operation and fledgling greeting card business. . ....
