Stewartville was two points away from finishing second Saturday in the Class A volleyball tournament at Met Center, before the Tigers rallied around some words of wisdom.
"After going to state last year, we thought we could win it this year," senior setter Kari Rogne said. "Our motto has been: `Get It Done in '91.' "
Stewartville, trailing 2-1 in the match and 13-11 in the fourth game, rallied and won that game and then the fifth, giving the Tigers a 14-16, 15-10, 8-15, 15-13, 15-7 victory over MACCRAY in the championship match.
Concordia Academy defeated Win-E-Mac for third place and Cosmos topped Cook for the consolation title.
