The delicate geometric patterns Frank Lloyd Wright used in windows and doors exert an almost irresistible attraction. In July, four of Wright's designs will be available in art glass panels from Andersen Windows. And local glass artist Michael Pilla had the delicate job of making sure the master architect's designs were represented true to form.
They are displayed at the Minneapolis Home and Garden Show, open at the Convention Center through Sunday. Though Wright's designs have been reproduced for sale in boutiques and museum stores, this is the first time they've been made available to a mass market, said Libby Johnston of Andersen Windows.
