Movie theaters are installing new technology which moves the audience's seats in perfect sync with the onscreen action. D-BOX Motion Code uses programmed motion effects embedded and specially programmed for each film, which are sent to a motion generating system integrated in a platform or a seat. While audience members experience motion during action sequences, the seats remain still during quieter scenes. The seats come equipped with adjustable settings so individuals can customize the experience. The goal is to make the moviegoer feel as if he is a part of the film.
