Nortel Selects Ubiquity's SIP Application Server to Provide Rapid SIP-Based Service Creation for Wireless Operators

Ubiquity Software today announced a strategic marketing relationship with Nortel* and completion of integration of the Ubiquity SIP Application Server within Nortel's Multimedia Communications Solution via 3GPP standards-based IMS interfaces. With Ubiquity's IMS-compliant SIP Application Server, Nortel can offer operators a pre-integrated, powerful service creation environment and a seamless migration from 2G to 3G wireless networks with the same application platform and applications, no upgrades and no significant capital changes.
