Kasur: Foreign Minister [FM] Khurshid Kasuri said Pakistan strictly opposes any expected US attack on Iran, and will stand by Iran if this extreme step is taken by the US. Iranian foreign minister's statement during his recent visit to Pakistan provides full testimony of our policy towards Iran. Pakistan aspires to resolve the nuclear issue of Iran according to the principles of IAEA [International Atomic Energy Agency], he added.
Foreign Minister Khurshid Kasuri said this Saturday [17 December] during a press conference at the residence of Sufi Azmatullah Shah "Sajjada Nasheen" [custodian of a shrine] of Naqeebabad, Kasur. He said neglecting defence will be a suicide in present scenario and Pakistan will acquire all the latest technology and defence equipments at all costs to maintain a balance of power in the region, considering it a necessary step for strengthening existence and solidarity.
