Karl R. LaPan has been named to the board of directors of Grabill Bank. He is president and chief executive officer of the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center Inc. Previously LaPan led ID Ventures Group, served as President and CEO of NBS Imaging Systems Inc., held management roles with NBS Technologies Inc. and served in a series of financial and management positions with the General Electric Company. LaPan is past board chair for the League of the Blind and Disabled Inc. and serves on the boards of directors of Physicians Health Plan of Northern Indiana, TrustBearer Labs and BioDuct LLC. He co-authored Creating Winning Business Plans, has also written guest columns for Fort Wa^ne Business Weekly and Business People and has been an adjunct faculty member at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne and Taylor University. LaPan earned a bachelor's degree from Franklin Pierce University and a master's degree from The American University.
