Catalog of Adult Education Projects. Fiscal Year 1985

Abstract

Designed to provide information about projects funded by States under Section 310 of the Adult Education Act, this catalog lists 400 projects. It is the eighth in a series of annual listings of special projects and staff development programs. The 400 projects are divided into 18 categories or subject areas. These categories are administration, assessment, community linkage, correctional education, counseling, diploma programs, disabled adults, dissemination, employability, English as a second language, evaluation, general educational development, life skills, literacy, recruitment, staff development, technology, and volunteers. Information provided for each project includes project number, project title, funding, contact person with addresses and telephone number, description, and product. A cross reference index identifies areas addressed by projects in addition to the major subject area under which they are categorized. Addresses and telephone numbers of state directors of adult education are appended. (YLB)
