Music spills onto Bandra's Waterfield Road during most afternoons these days. If you follow the musical trail, it leads you to a room in the neighbourhood apartment. Its door flaunts a signboard, which reads "Jam room: Excessive sound levels". And inside the room, four musicians are busy head-banging amidst the dense mess of guitars, drum kits, mics, cigarette packets and energy drink cans. They all belong to Zero - Mumbai's most popular music band - which is back together after a one year break.
Their high energy is palpable as they rehearse. That can't be blamed on the energy drinks. Vocalist Rajeev Talwar, bassist Girish 'Bobby' Talwar, guitarist Warren Mendonsa and drummer Sidd Coutto are eager to return to the stage together this weekend.
