Caution needed for country-specific cancer survival

[...] even though cancer registration is constantly improving in the UK, one cannot dismiss that gaps in case ascertainment in England might be responsible for a proportion of the survival differences when comparisons are made with those countries having nearly complete case ascertainment, for example Sweden.
