Greater Atlantic Financial, MidAtlantic Bancorp terminate merger agreement

Greater Atlantic Financial Corp., MidAtlantic Bancorp Inc. and GAF Merger Corp. said Dec. 14 that they terminated the offer to purchase for cash at least 505,040 and up to 649,151 Greater Atlantic Capital Trust I 6.50% cumulative convertible trust preferred securities.
