Fidessa Bows US, Canada Fragmentation Tools

Abstract

UK-based trading technology and data vendor Fidessa has launched its Fidessa Fragmentation Index and Fragulator fragmentation analysis tools in the US and Canada, having launched European versions of both almost two years ago. Combined, the tools provide investors with a full picture of liquidity fragmentation in stocks and indexes worldwide, with data updated at the end of each trading day. The tricky bit is that the regulation differs between each market and zone -- there are different opportunities and obstacles in each.
