Texas electric retail providers saw their customer satisfaction ratings drop over the past year, according to the findings of a J.D. Power and Associates report, now in its second year.
"Wide fluctuations in electricity prices during the past year have led to a decrease in overall customer satisfaction with residential retail electric providers in Texas," J.D. Power and Associates said in a news release.
The study examined four key factors, including pricing, billing and payment, communications, and customer service from October 2008 through June 2009. J.D. Power then provided a ranking based on its 1,000-point scale.
