According to the abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization: "Disclosed is an image processing device mounted in a vehicle, wherein an image processing means acquires a camera image which was taken with a camera disposed on the side-view mirror of the vehicle. An image selection means selects the first section of the camera image when the side-view mirror is closed, and selects the second section of the camera image when the side-view mirror is opened. A display image providing means outputs, to a display device mounted in the vehicle, information corresponding to the first section or the second section of the camera image selected by means of the image selection means."
