Kofax plc (LSE:KFX), a provider of document driven business process automation solutions, said today that it has been chosen by software giant Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) to be a managed independent software vendor (ISV).
As a result, Kofax will work directly with a Microsoft business development manager and benefit from strategic input from Microsoft executives on developing new solutions for Microsoft platforms such as Microsoft Windows Azure, SharePoint and SQL Server.
Kofax will also demonstrate document-driven process automation solutions and tools for SharePoint and Windows Azure, Microsoft's platform for applications and storing data in the cloud, at the 2011 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) in Los Angeles this week.
